Aww she is adorbs.... FYI I foster kittens and started using metal litter boxes and they are SO much better with not getting stinky. If you clean shovel them out twice a day and clean them completely once a week they stay pretty good. The metal does not hold the stink in like the plastic boxes do! I LOVE torties, enjoy her!!
She’s so cute. If she’s biting, there’s a high probability that she’s getting over stimulated especially if you’re petting her a lot. I would recommend getting a book on cat behavior. Cats are all about body language so it’s important to be able to read the signs she’s giving you. It may take some time for her to feel safe with you. Once she trusts you, your relationship will blossom.
Aww, that's so cute! Jelly Bean is absolutely adorable as are all the other babies in the house. Congratulations on your new family member! God bless you all with years of love, companionship, & fun adventures!❤😊
I just adopted a tortoisy too. My vet says they have tortitude lol… we named her Misty and I have an old Yorkie who could care less. Don’t give cat food to the dog. That’s my advice. My Yorkie got constipated
Hahaha! Good advice! Olive my chihuahua doesn’t like wet dog food and has shown no interest in the cat food. I’m gonna use that ‘Tortitude’ comment lol! Thanks for commenting!
She is gorgeous. Just be careful will letter her play tug of war on anything as she can lose teeth easily. I found out the hard way. I love happy cats and she is just adorable.
if you are getting a kitty from a shelter, be very prepared for probably the worst month of your life, because i dont know what they put in the cat food in the shelters but omg......the stink is real!
She wasn’t from a shelter! Jeli bean was fostered in a nice home and is now eating the same food. I don’t have to smell it lol! That’s my daughter’s responsibility 😂
Silliness. Always cut your cats nails. Just don’t too deep and hit the quick, especially in a kitten as she will likely remember and nail trimming will then be a lifelong ordeal. Consult your vet who will confirm nail trimming is needed and harmless.
@@RogerBentley-be3mr thank you for clarifying! Yes she’s going to be a house cat! I’d be afraid of her playing with Olive the chihuahua if we didn’t cut her nails!
You’re adorable kitten is biting because she was removed from her mom too young. Not criticizing, as I don’t know the situation that led you to her. Kitttens need to stay with mom until at least 12 weeks to learn proper socialization, such as no biting and even less use of those prickly claws. Best wishes for all of you.
I'M SOOO GLAD YOU ADOPTED HER! WELCOME TO THE CAT LOVERS CLUB❤🐈💋
Thanks! It’s been fun! 🤩

Thank you so much for the tip! I will definitely keep that in mind! Learning as I go and appreciate any feedback! ❤️

Good to know! Is there a reason why you shouldn’t?

@@SueñosEspañoles-q9x I'm sorry. I am from rural England where our cats live a wild life. If you have a house cat of course it's different

Try not to fight with her, you don't want to promote her biting, even if it is just fun. You need to get some toys to play WITH her.
Great advice! Thank you! 😊
